Business game "Chumaks for salt"

Immerse yourself in the 18th century, step into the shoes of a Chumak trader, don a straw hat, and set out to collect bags of salt to sell at a profit.

The action takes place in the 18th century, where each team represents a group of Chumaks journeying with oxen to Crimea to extract salt and later sell it in border regions. Throughout the business game, participants will plan trade routes, purchase necessary resources, sell salt, and negotiate with other teams.

What makes this training special?

During the game, participants—working in small teams of 3 to 7 people—travel from town to town, hold internal team meetings, and make crucial decisions. However, things are not as simple as they might seem. We've prepared a series of events and surprises that will challenge your thinking. At the end of the session, a trainer-moderator guides the participants through a debrief to analyze game processes, decisions made, and the risk and resource management models developed during the game.
